The Disasters Darwinism Brought to Humanity (Part 1 of 5)

This documentary presents an aspect of the theory of evolution that has so far remained hidden. It unveils the ideological links between Darwinism and totalitarian ideologies like fascism and communism. You will see the fruits of Darwinism in the killing fields of Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

Oh boy, a conspiracy theory 'documentary'. Ambiguous claims about Sumerian mythology tapping on the same idea (evidence? it would be fascinating, were it true). Conflating ancient Greek, "materialist", philosophy with, "the myth of evolution", to mean the same thing.

This is followed up with a segue into a meandering editorial monologue, wherein the narrator continues to paint an entirely lop-sided history, while throwing bizarre claims (stated as fact, no less) at the audience in an entirely convoluted and context-less manner. Aside from this making it almost impossible to learn anything, it betrays an almost child-like naivete of the subject matter. And all in the first 5 minutes. If it weren't for the entirely unenthusiastic tone of the narrator (whom I suspect merely needed the money), I'd be glued to my monitor, curious to watch this train-wreck unfold.

I was also struck by the irony of what is undoubtedly a 'documentary' funded/created by fundamental Christians, attacking ideas either because they a) (supposedly) date from antiquity or b) seem silly when looked upon with a modern light. Pretty ballsy stone-throwing from those in the glasshouse.

I look forward to part 2, which looks set to make all sorts of amusing claims. Actually, let me make some predictions:
- They're going to claim Social Darwnism, as practiced by Hitler, was created and supported by Charles Darwin.
- They're going to claim Hitler was into all sorts of crazy occult rituals and wasn't an aggressive Catholic.
- They're going to claim the Theory of Evolution is a trojan horse for both the modern world's 'evils' and pre-Judeo/Christian polytheism.
- They're going to preach the idea that 'morality can't exist in a material world'.
- They're going to revisit scientific theories aborted in the 50's and use obscure passages of scripture to present 'the real truth', 'they don't want you to know'.

Uhh, I better stop making predictions before I ruin the rest of this for myself.

Oh and insinuating that Darwin proposed a model of human evolution which denigrated different "races" is a really low blow. Especially against such a staunch opponent of slavery and racism.

Icaria, you are intensely comical. Wow!

Do you really believe the comments that you post, or are you just pulling our leg?

Seriously, there is no, and I mean zero, doubt that the logical conclusion to the Darwinian worldview leads to a culling of "inferiors".

Ultimately, it’s clear that you simply hate the God of the Bible. And frankly that’s between you and Him. However, don’t try to come off like you are so objective and full of reason. You’re not.

Please, don’t let me discourage you from your hilarity though. I rather enjoy the humor of your nonsense. Although, I would rather see your conversion.

God bless.

My, you're a rather contemptuous individual. You'd think someone so concerned with my conversion - and someone who would purport to be my morally superior, would have the decency to actually refute my critique, rather than just ridicule me.

> Seriously, there is no, and I mean zero, doubt that the logical conclusion to the Darwinian worldview leads to a culling of "inferiors".

I find this a curious statement. The, "Darwinian worldview", is merely an expression of the evidence regarding the earth's emergent biodiversity. It has absolutely nothing to do with with philosophy and contemporary ideology.

A few people may abuse theories of evolution to their own advantage: applying evolution anecdotally or esoterically but this is hardly exclusive to, well, anything. Anything which can be used by immoral people to justify their behaviour will be used. Despite what this sad parody of an actual documentary would have you believe, after, "tradition"; Paul the Apostle's writings on slave ownership and the, "Mark of Ham", are the biggest historical justifications for the enslavement of Africans but this no more means that the, "logical conclusion", to scripture is the subjugation of other races, than the, "logical conclusion", to the theory of evolution is the crimes committed by powerful and insane individuals. To hold that one of the above statements is true and the other is not is a dissonance which betrays your own proverbial axe to grind regarding one of these truths.

Granted, I'm guessing you're also from the school of thought that 'there can be no doubt that the logical conclusion to videogame violence is the killing of innocents' or, 'there can be no doubt that the logical conclusion to guns is the killing of', well, I'm perhaps being a bit hasty there...

> Ultimately, it’s clear that you simply hate the God of the Bible

To invest any such emotions in god or the bible is to imply that I take such ideas seriously. I do not. Aggressive Christians may sometimes test my patience but in true biblical style, I try where I can to turn the other cheek and politely correct them - as I have done here, today.

I hope that if you have any other objections, you'll present them respectfully and critically. Then perhaps the, "God bless", you closed with would actually seem sincere.
